This is my first mixit in a looooong time, and also my first thing to create since picking up the APC40 (loving it).

It's way too long and needs a lot more tones, notes.. musicality but I'm just glad I have something to put up here!

Used a little of every sample then mangled everything up nicely with some puremagnetik racks

its like flying above a futuristic aztec city on a huge mechanical bug, with the alien space craft docked on the pyramid in the distance. great sequencing and reverb space!

I like the hints of melody that swell up from under. pensive track so the release is totally welcome around 2:50. I love the deconstruction towards the last quarter of the piece and how it evolves into something more bubbly. nice work man.

listening back wow... its so long and goes nowhere! Heheh. I've been having so much fun messing with stuff on the fly that I haven't settled in to actually compose and edit my stuff since getting the newfangled controller. It's good, because I've never had such a free workflow but now I need to combine the two and write actual music again. blah blah anyway,

thanks guys... the flying bug is hilarious as a few friends of mine never let me forget the time I drunkenly admitted to wanting a giant bee to ride around on

that indeed looks like a cool interface. as I listened to the track for the first time, I went off and checked out some pictures of the apc. looks like fun!
